Physical description:

One pair of nasal and orbital cirri. Orbital cirri bushy and nasal cirrus branched.

Colouration:

Large dark-ringed brown blotch on cheek. Heavy white-blue spotting on cirri and front of head. Front of dorsal orange.
Males: dark brown with small white dashes and spots along the body.
Females: translucent pale with a row of brown to orange-red blotches along the midflank and white blotches along the vertebral column.

Size:

Reaches 6.0 cm.

Habitat:

Found in empty worm tubes on rocky reefs
