Distinctive features:

Physical description:

One pair of nasal and orbital cirri. Orbital cirri simple, either unbranched or with one branch.

Colouration:

Light brown to green. Row of dark brown blotches above and below the midflank. Lips and chin pinkish or a red. Iris red. Dark patch on cheek behind eye.

Size:

Reaches 4.5 cm.

Habitat:

Found in empty barnacles and worm tubes in muddy rock and rocky reefs.
