Physical description:

One pair of nasal and orbital cirri. Orbital cirri branched moderately and nasal lightly branched.

Colouration:

Dark brown to a light yellow-brown. Dark and white patches behind eye. Rows of dark brown spots along body on upper midside, top and bottom. Spinuous dorsal with orange to yellow border.

Size:

Reaches 4.0 cm.

Habitat:

Found in holes found in patchy reefs, usually in clear water.
