Physical description:

Nasal cirri bushy. 2 heavily branched, bushy cirri over each eye. Long nasal cirri. Pair of papillae on nape.

Colouration:

Grey mottled with a dark grey/brown. A sometimes visible dark vertebral column with white dashes. Pale, greenish-blue, oddly-shapd blotches along upper body. Pale blue vertical stripes along front half of body. White spots on head. Pale stripe behind eye around length of eye diameter. Black line along edge of upper lips and cheek. Iris brown with blue stripes. Front of dorsal fin honeycombed with brown spots. An ocellus or black blotch may be present on upper front dorsal fin.

Size:

Reaches 5.0 cm.

Habitat:

Found in rocky coasts.
