All images shown on this site are either in the public domain, used with permission, or licensed under a Creative Commons license that allows reuse.
Wherever possible, I have contacted photographers directly, particularly for images marked as all rights reserved, where explicit permission to display the images was given.
In some cases, photographer contact information is not publicly available. When an image is clearly marked with a license allowing reuse, that license is relied upon and its terms are followed.
If you are a rights holder and believe an image has been wrongly attributed or used in a manner outside the scope of the license, please contact me and the image will be reviewed or removed.
Some images are used with explicit permission from the photographer beyond the terms of the stated license; permission was obtained with full disclosure of how the image would be used.
I encourage others wishing to reuse images to respect stated licenses and to contact photographers wherever possible.
